Designed by legend Pierre Paulin, Pumpkin is a relaunch of a design originally part of the revolutionary redecoration of the Elysée Palace for Claude and Georges Pompidou.
The Palace was imbued with a modernity so far in advance of its time that President Giscard d'Estaing rushed to dismantle it as soon as he was elected.
Pierre Paulin is regarded as a master of design whose innovative influence in the sphere of furniture extends to designers the world over, including Ligne Roset's iconic piece, Togo.
